Council Tax discount for a Nursing Apprentice

I am about to embark on a Registered Nursing Degree Apprenticeship. I will be doing a three-year degree while working for the NHS. I know student nurses get a council tax rebate, but do nursing apprentices? I will be earning less than I am currently earning, but there seems to be a grey area around student nurses and apprentices when searching for information.

probably the quickest and easiest way is to check on your local council's website.
If it is not clear then contact them and enquire. Or complete the form giving all the details required.
Use this link to find your local council.

An apprentice is never exempt from council tax, you are disregarded (if you meet the qualifying requirements) but the maximum applicable discount is 50%. The Class N exemption for students does not apply to apprentices.
An apprentice is defined as someone- On training that leads to an OFQUAL qualification, and
- Earns less than £195 per week
- A nursing or midwifery student taking a course which leads to registration under NMHVA 1997
