Parkingeye reduced payment.

Hi.
I recieved a £70 pcn from Parkingeye which is discounted to £40 if paid quickly. On appeal as a gesture of goodwill this was discounted to £20 which I will begrudgingly pay but there is no method of paying a reduced amout online, by phone (automated) or by QR code & my 14 day payment preiod is nearly up. Can't see any way of contacting them to discuss 🙄

Started off with chatbot but someone came back to me after 2 hours. I think they corrected their mistake which allowed me to pay the correct amout online in the normal way.

Just goes to show  -  when I responded to the Governments new PPCoP public review I made forceful comments (I am sure many others did as well) that the original amount of the charge is excessive  -  a more reasonable amount of say £20 is much more likely to be paid. Produced evidence of all the NtK's from family & friends that I have arranged to be cancelled by landowner/on appeal, stating that not a single penny has been received by the scammers (Hansard) whereas if they were not so greedy they would most likely have received the more reasonable sums.

As I say  -  just goes to show that the more reasonable sum is perfectly acceptable to the scammers as evidenced by this thread.
