Hi. We have received this PCN through. Our daughter works at Next in Preston and my wife went to pick her up after her shift. When she arrived, there where no parking spaces free, so she pulled onto the hatched area to wait as a car was reversing out of a space. She was there for 1 minute and 16 seconds before pulling into the space.
My question is, how do we approach the appeal? Do we send the "One size fits all" template found in the newbies thread, or do we appeal based on her not actually leaving her car so technically wasn't parked? The engine was still running.
Thanks in advance.

You appeal then. Not the driver.
Or just ignore it and wait for DCB Legal to try a small claim, as they always discontinue defended claims. Easy.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

 Hi guys
I emailed the One size fits all reply and this is what I got back.

You were already advised:Djyamo said:Could someone please advise my next step?
No appeal is ever going to be accepted by UKPC so don't waste your time. POPLA won't be much use either. Just wait for the inevitable claim to be issued and follow the process as advised in the Newbies/FAQ thread where this will eventually be discontinued some time next year.Coupon-mad said:You appeal then. Unless (without our help) you've already defended a court claim earlier this year that you didn't tell us about, you don't have a court date through nor a CCJ.Djyamo said:

Why not just read other threads like yours about (presumably) a Claim Form, and copy what they did, starting by showing us the Particulars of Claim just like everyone else does on their threads.
Or are you saying you have had a claim form in the post months ago, defended it, gone past mediation and really do have a hearing date?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

This is the only correspondence I have had since the letter in November.

it looks like I have got a court date for a CCJ (I think)No it doesn't look like any of that. That's a claim form like all the others on threads here. Read half a dozen current threads like yours and the second post of the NEWBIES thread.
You must defend it. Dead easy.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
