BPA carpark PCN. First letter, but I never really parked. (Scotland)

Hi All.
I have read the newies thread a few times and the letter for the appeal.
To be quick. I entered a car park and checked if there was space. I waited a few minutes just in case. No luck, so I left.
But I received a letter today from The NTK with pictures of my car (not the signal, but my car is clear) and the times I drove in and out (25 minutes). Yeah, it is the only car park in the area, and I had time, so I waited.
Can I appeal this? Also, their machine requests that you enter the number plate.
The letter also includes a web to appeal. What should I say?
I am angry because I never left the car and I had to pay the extortionate price of the street car park anyway!!
I appreciate your help.

Do not even think about paying this. No need in Scotland (at the moment). Which parking firm is sending you letters? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Ignore Britannia completely AND the debt demands. Nothing will happen in Scotland. Not this time.
But you'll already know that the law in Scotland is going to change because I gave you search words to read about it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
