When I worked in Switzerland a Russian chap in office used to fetch back from visits home a Putin calendar in December for following year. It was a giggle at the time seeing the man pose in various situations.
on return to UK I had a collection of 5 calendars ranging from 2013 to 2018.
So I sold 3 on eBay with one listed still to sell for 4 months.
ebay sent me a mail yesterday saying that the calendar now goes against its policies on what you are allowed to sell and removed the listing.
Maybe he has threatened to nuke eBay’s head office 😂
Not bothered - just thought I would share the changing attitude to Putin since the war started with Ukraine and it has taken eBay this long to ban his picture.

I've had some strange things banned as well over the years. A vintage cake lifter ,one of those triangular things you use to take a piece of cake from a plate to serve it , as it breached their blade policy. I also had a pen banned as I used the word barrel and it breached their weapon policy.

I’ve just had a nebuliser banned, despite eBay having a specific category for nebulisers. The reason being that it is apparently a prescription item. I could understand the ban if it was but they are freely available for sale in boots, Amazon etc.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0

It is worth challenging eBay on this, I had an item that had if I remember correctly 75% in the title and was banned for being a prescription medication, the item had nothing to do with medication it wasn't even a chemical but when I enquired it was investigated and they told me that because some people were trying to list a specific medication they had added 75% to their filters, the agent was very helpful, they systematically went through the listing title word for word until they narrowed down what was being flagged.Money_Grabber13579 said:I’ve just had a nebuliser banned, despite eBay having a specific category for nebulisers. Thanks, I did appeal the decision and that got rejected. I’ve subsequently noticed in their actual policy, they don’t permit the sale of nebulisers at all so I don’t know why the rejection reason was for it being prescription medication (which it isn’t). But that then makes it even more strange as to why they have a nebuliser category…EffieTrinketsWig said:

There are some categories where an authorised retailer is allowed to sell but only after being checked out by eBay, it might be that is the case here.Money_Grabber13579 said:
