Insurance charges with no bill or contract

I used to have a boiler cover contract with my older energy provider SSE, this company was then bought out by OVO. It's been a while, I don't have a copy of my contract anymore and the company has still been charging me for the last few years. This isn't anything abnormal but I noticed that they haven't been billing me, I only have bills for energy usage. This comes through as a seperate charge on my account under Corgi insurance. I've never made a claim and don't need or want this insurance anymore as I have a very new boiler - predictably OVO will try and charge me an exit fee. I noticed on their website, they don't seem to offer any services for the amount of money they have been charging me. This leads me to believe that if I were to try and make a claim it might become an issue because I am being charged for a service they don't provide anymore. Is there any wiggle room for me here, am I able to pursue a refund, can they charge me an exit fee?
Thanks, A

I took out boiler cover with OVO and I only hear from them once a year even though I pay monthly. Is this the same for you?If want to discontinue paying for your insurance then you might be able cancel the contract (with exit fee) or you can ask that the insurance doesn't renew at the next annual renewal date. You have had continuous cover under your insurance policy so you have no grounds for requesting a refund

If you had actually tried to claim and they'd said "oh sorry, we've undercharged you so you're not covered" that would be a different matter, although it seems very unlikely that would happen anyway.
If the contract allows them to charge you an exit fee then they can charge you this. It seems unlikely they would given a) it's a long standing contract and b) if you're right you're being undercharged and thus would be unprofitable in the long term so they'd likely be happy to let you go.0
