in Credit cards
Hi All,
I would like to consolidate some credit cards onto one interest free card and had used the MSE tool to find a good deal. I had selected HSBC and completed their online form. The issue is after I hit submit, I was met with an error page - see below.
Should I expect to see a credit reference check on my record if the website has crashed? Has anyone else had issues with the HSBC credit card website? The site has presented an option to call them but I have impaired hearing and don't do well on the phone.
There's no email notice to acknowledge an application in any way shape or form.
Thanks for your time

It says you can still apply for a credit card by calling the number below. So I would call the number - and by following the procedure, I wouldn't then expect to see two hard searches. If you just go back and re-apply online, you might get two. Two searches in isolation shouldn't have any significant impact on your history - but if a second does appear, and you've followed their outlined procedure as per your screenshot - you'd have grounds for having one removed.0
