Hi,
I am possibly going to court about an executor mismanaging an inheritance. I’ve been advised by a no fee, no claim Solicitor that I should take out After the Event Insurance. Is this a legit route?

Yes, ATE is common in no win no fee (aka conditional funding) action.
Make sure you have no BTE insurance that may be applicable beforehand though (eg legal expenses on Home Insurance or by being a Union member)1
