Declaring accident in 2 different motor insurance policies

Hi, I’ve a query about motor insurance. I have 2 cars and 2 policies in my name. Car 1 is my work car with my partner as a named driver and car 2 is my bigger family car with my son as named driver. Both my partner and son have their own vans. My son had an accident in car 2 and my policy is due for renewal on car 1. My question is do I have to declare that accident on my renewal for car 1, if my son isn’t included on it?
