Nova Scotia RV motorhome holiday

Had great time in NS a year ago, fancied a different style this time. We loved the small towns and villages, esp in French areas - and me a Scot!
So want to travel slower and stay when we want to.
Any sources of info or tips on RV motorhome renting? I see CA$100 per day seems average; any better deals in early June?
We will probably fly with Zoom again - Glasgow to Halifax. OR are there deals with other operators and do a fly/drive?
Insurance seems to be usual rip-off, can I take out cover here as with car rental, to save.
