Hi,
Long time lurker first time poster.
I've been following the advice from the newbies thread for the best part of 9 months as I had a "fine" from Civil Enforcement ltd from December last year.
Last week I finally received the Letter Before Claim from them directly (weird as they'd chased me through DCB briefly). I've since responded with the template from the newbies thread and received a letter back in response with a load of guff about the additional £70 being mentioned on the fine print of the sign in the car park. However they've sent me no acknowledgement to the remainder of the email nor my request for evidence of my vehicle being parked on "their" land in the first place or the sign in question
Generous people if the forum, if I could ask for some advice on what to do next that would be much appreciated!

After having reported their tax evasion scheme to HMRC, wait patiently for a Claim Form to drop through your letter-box.2

Search the forum for HMRC VAT concerns and copy what others wrote, please.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you both for replying so quickly.
Will report them now via the tax service link I found
On the "Letter Before Claim" they sent me, it did have reply forms on there, pardon my ignorance but am I correct in thinking these are not the same as claim forms?0 -
Also worth mentioning in their reply they didn't even respond to the VAT questions0

The N1 claim form pack comes in the post from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL, not anyone else or anywhere else
No need to fill in the LoC forms either

The second post of the NEWBIES thread explains the difference between a LBC and a court claim form and how to respond to them.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

So they've sent me another letter saying they addressed it in the first (they haven't) and they also sent me a load of pictures of what must be my car in pitch darkness where you can't even see the licence plates the quality is so bad. As well as pictures from August last year of the signage in the car park in broad daylight. It was night time (pitch black) and December when I supposedly parked on their land so this "proof" if theirs isn't sufficient to me.
I'll await the claim form as I don't think it makes much sense responding to this1 -
Have you done the HMRC VAT concerns report? That's the whole point of doing the LBC response.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
