Amazon price error - partial refund denied

Hi all, I ordered this item as amazon had made a mistake with the price on their blue banner, meaning it should've been 64.99 but i was charged 94.99, despite having an email from their customer service representative saying I was entitled to a £30 refund they are refusing to honour my complaint, does anyone have a screenshot showing the 'error' price? I can't find my screenshot, may have deleted it after I was promised the partial refund.
Also, does anyone have any advice on what I should do? The executive department have also rejected it saying 'the info I gave was not correct or they can't find it in their internal systems'

Are you saying you ordered it because you realised Amazon had made an error by pricing it at £64.99 but they charged you £94.99?tiredtractor said:Hi all, I ordered this item as amazon had made a mistake with the price on their blue banner,...
I'm not sure you can complain if you were knowingly taking advantage of Amazon's error...0 -
Dont you have the order confirmation from email Amazon showing the price?0

Not sure that will carry much weight. I remember a large company (possibly Next) had something on sale for £10.99 when it should have been £1099.00 & lots of people bought them & received confirmations but they were quickly cancelled.swingaloo said:Dont you have the order confirmation from email Amazon showing the price?0 -
Which price did the payment screen and order confirmation email show when you placed the order?tiredtractor said:I ordered this item as amazon had made a mistake with the price on their blue banner, meaning it should've been 64.99 but i was charged 94.990 -

For most online retailers, the terms say the contract is finalised when the goods are shipped - for this very reason.

Looks like a pricing error camelcamecamel suggests the price has always been £94.99. Your purchase screen should have said £94.99 what does your orders page tell you? Have you received the item? Why not send it back for a full refund and wait until a sale.0
