Over payment recovery

My partner and I are on UC, we both recieve PIP too. I received a lump sum which took us over the threshold and I declared this, we are now in debt recovery and paid a small civil fine. Our monthly payment did not change during this,  i believed because they'd given us a figure of approximately £20k that we had overpayed then subsequently putting us in debt recovery I thought it had been resolved. Until now, we have to go in and show our statements, my savings have reduced dramatically since the initial period when the lump sum was put in,  my savings are still over £6000. Are they likely to scrutinise the statements again and reasess the overpayment and debt recovery amount?    Tia

There are regular reviews of UC claims taking place at the moment  as DWP have taken on thousands of additional staff.

So probably part of the normal review process and not linked to what happened before.
The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums.
