Update: I got my Fit Note for about two and a half months. I was expecting to have to upload it to the Universal Credit Journal page but that isn't the case and all it tells me is to keep it on hold in case they need it for the future. Not sure when they'll need it for at least I have it now.

    Again, thanks for the help.
That's usually what you need to do. They don't usually ask you to upload it.
I wanted to print off a copy of the fit note, but I've noticed that it's not possible. No PDF program allows you to print off the document. Is this normal?

If you have word, you can import & print from there. Other programs may do the same.
You should also be able to save the PDF on to you computer for safety.

That's not normal.  What PDF programme are you using?
  • I agree with Spoonie it's not normal, if your printer isn't showing when you go to print it might not be installed correctly.

If it won't let you print your fit note

Do a screen grab and then print out the screen grab
  • Hi folks, sorry I'm so late to reply but my health hasn't been great. Anyway, it took me nearly a week to figure out how to print off the fit note and I tried numerous programs. It wouldn't allow me to print on a lot of software for some reason but I was able to find one that allowed me to print it off. I was worried because I had my UC appointment and when I mentioned I wasn't able to print it off he seemed confused. But least I have proof now.

Thanks again, you've all been a lot of help.
