Monzo - paying DDRs from saving pots

Hi, can anyone tell me if you can pay Direct Debits from a pot or savings pot if you only have the free account / plan with Monzo ?

    No you can't. You need the paid for account. I just transfer the money into my main pot the day before the bill is due

    You can do that with Starling with no fee

    You certainly do not need the paid for account to pay direct debits from a standard pot. I have been doing so for years.

    The interest-bearing pot, however, cannot be used for automatic direct debit transfer payments.
