    thanks, just weighing up my options will get a cca request sent over to begin with, also have you any experience with cabot are they any different one of the cards debt has been sold to the.

    Cabot are a run-of-the mill debt buyer.  No better or worse than the others.

    ive read a few posts where people have done a cca request with lowells and for lowells to then issue court proceedings in a tit for tat

    im just weighing up if it might be better to just contact them and offer to pay £5 a month instead of doing a cca request since i owe about £15K would take decades to pay off

    If you're thinking of paying a creditor it makes sense to check it's an enforceable debt first
