N180 stage

I have parking claim DCB legal for eurocarnparks- I have read Newbies thread but I’ve read it after already submitting a defence (which was just in my own words about what happened) so I am unsure what still applies to me in court phase. I also saw a thread on specific answers to N180 but it was from a long time ago and the questions are different, is there an updated thread on this? I assume I am ticking no for D1 (suitability for determination without a hearing)? Then putting my local court in… 

My situation is:
Claim is £293.44
Parking ticket was from 2021
At the time I was sent a letter stating breach for ‘vehicle parked without valid pay by phone transaction’ (same as is quoted in the court papers). 

I appealed in 2021 with a copy of my bank statement to show payment.
I then received a letter stating my appeal was rejected as my car overstayed (23mins) but I could no longer appeal.
i contacted them at the time to state that I had not realised my late return because I was dealing with a crisis that day with a patient (the car park is not a hospital premises but a town car park opposite the clinic I work in)
I recall (although this was a very long time ago) that I was advised I have already appealed and this was rejected and there is no option to appeal.  I didn’t hear any more until the usual threatening letters this year from DCB legal. 

I submitted a defence (unfortunately before I saw all the advice on here) just stating the facts above. 

I now am completing the N180 form.

Will the fact I was not given the correct information at the time be enough in a witness statement without the more legally worded defence document before it? I have no paperwork from this time unfortunately. I only found out recently the timing of overstay from DCB legal who obviously say this is a clear contract breach so I will need to pay etc… 

Do I use the templates for defence in my witness statement instead and will I have the opportunity then for including things like my paid ticket and confirmation of my job and clinic location? 

Any advice would be appreciated ! Thank you and apologies for finding this forum all so very late….!

If you are at n180 DQ stage you are nowhere near WS stage and anyway, DCB Legal will discontinue at WS stage.

All the Qs in the DQ n180 form are in the NEWBIES thread second post.  And Mediation is compulsory (explained in the Template Defence thread).

Attending a mediation meeting by telephone is now mandatory 

The N180 completion stage is explained in the newbies sticky thread in announcements, plus the 12 steps in the defence template thread in announcements 

You can start dealing with the WS stage after these preliminary stages, by studying other recent cases that are at that point, although yours won't be required until next year

Ah found it now thank you! I think I ended up down a very old thread before. Would you say there is still chance of being struck out with these circumstances ?
