Calculating energy usage
Options
It's time for me to review my energy deal and I'm trying to calculate how much I've used in the last 12 months.
To do this, I have taken the meter readings from Sep 2024 and the readings from Oct 2023 and come up with a difference in KW/h.
I have then fed them into MSE's own energy comparison site and the payments quoted are around half what I'm paying now, which makes me suspect I've gone wrong somwhere.
Have I been too simplistic in calcuating my energy usage?

Is this for dual fuel ?
Meter readings for electric are kWh
Gas readings are not and need to be converted0 -
Your DD figure may also be based on a different annual consumption estimate.0

Have you checked a recent bill? Many tell you what your annual usage is (or projected to be).1
