Advice wanted.
Mum lives in a bungalow in the garden currently she has a large(washing machine sized oil Combi boiler. It will need replacing soon what should I replace it with. No access to mains gas as I Oil, electric ASHP?
She doesn't use a massive amount of oil atm(less than 400ltr a year) and not a lot of electricity.

I assume you need a solution for hot water and not just heating? Modern properties are well insulated and designed for a maintained temperature - as opposed to bursts of heat in the morning and evening. If this sounds like your bungalow then maybe a heat pump is worth the investment...but I suspect an oil-fired combi boiler is most likely the most cost efficient solution here
