Morning All
TA sending you big hugs and condolences. Hope today goes as well as it can.
Gers I'm another one not keen on celery but like Izzie have found thinks I like now that I hated as a child. The main one being mushrooms which I now love.
We have enjoyed the Chelsea detective and still have the new series of Grace to watch
Taff chees is something I still dislike and the smell of cooked cheese makes me queasy
Derek glad the freezers ave been collected.
I couldn't get to sleep very well last night I suspect too much running round my head, hopefully will settle tonight.
We have the plumber coming today heating seems to be having a go slow, it doesn't seem to be working in all the radiators. We have tried bleeding etc but nope. Want to get it sorted before the really cold weather.
Had friend round for Sunday lunch, going to see her DH in hospital this afternoon and as DH not playing bowls tonight will have the pleasure of his company ! Lucky me lol
Have a good day all hugs to all who want them

Morning everyone
It's been a lovely sunny weekend here, but we're forecast rain for the week now.
I really enjoyed the stained glass workshop on Saturday, it was quite difficult but very rewarding once I got the hang of it. I made an A4 size 'window' of the sun rising over hills and a lake - they have to go to the organiser's workshop for a final stage and will be ready to collect next weekend. I was so glad I signed up for it....nice way to spend a Saturday, especially after the last few of going to the hospital to visit dad.
Little one came for her tea once I got home and stayed until Sunday afternoon - it was so lovely to have her back! We had a lovely day yesterday just playing and talking - I don't think she stopped talking from waking up at about 6am. I managed her new medications - I have a new list of instructions stuck on the kitchen wall - though she did get upset and panicky the first couple of times I put medicine in her tube. She is really worried someone will do it wrong and she'll have to go back to hospital. The nurses are going to school this morning to train her teachers so I hope she lets them do it without getting too upset. She is just going to go to school for the mornings this week, as she is getting tired really quickly and is having a nap after lunch. She told me she is very nervous about going back, in case her tube or port get knocked - I was able to tell her that 2 of the big year 4 girls have volunteered to be her 'bodyguards' and look after her at playtime...so she liked that idea.
She has become so used to it being her and DD for the past few months, so it was such a big step for her just being with me instead, just hoping she manages some time at school this week.
Right enough waffling, I have to be at work earlier today - hope everyone has a good day x11 -
Hi everyone,
TA, my condolences for your loss, I hope today goes as well as it can.
dp1, poor little thing, she's been through much it's no wonder she's apprehensive, hopefully she'll regain her confidence soon.
Steve is home today, he finished the floors yesterday and was expecting the machine would be picked up today but it's not going till Wednesday now. The children are at school and nursery, Laura is at work and Brian is about to set off for Wales after getting back from Spain yesterday afternoon.
I want to water the plants and then try my hand at decoupage, I've bought a couple of advent drawers for the children (I must get another for Nate) to fill with little things to try to avoid them having chocolate every day.
Time to go, have a good day.

Morning all, after having a bad night with acid reflux and only 3hrs sleep I went to the pharmacy this morning to collect our meds and they are still not ready, now I have to go back about 3/4pm. To say I'm not a happy bunny is and understatement 😠 Maybe I'll give our village pharmacy a go next time as they have changed hands and become independent so not part of a chain.
Yesterday I finally sorted some summer clothes out and swapped them with winter jumpers, I've only been procrastinating about it for about a week ! I made a casserole with the defrosted sausages so we'll have some for tea and I'll freeze the rest. The wm is on as the sun is shining but we are due showers so they may have to be dried indoors. Just realised it's bin day tomorrow so I'll put them out later, such joy !!
TA thinking of you today. I'm so sorry that SIL has passed away, 72 is no age. Sending big cwtches.
dp1 hope little one has a lovely time at school and all goes well.
Take care all, hugs to anyone in need

Morning all. We're like you @taff, damp & dismal!TA, so sorry to hear you have more sad news (hugs) & to you Derek.Sounds like you've been busy Camelot. I have too, 1st time I've sat down for a cuppa since breakfast.NRA, our heating is playing up too, & didn't come on this morning as the pressure had dropped in the boiler, which indicated a leak somewhere. Checked the rads and the one behind the sofa looks to have been leaking- there's a mark on the laminate. That led me to cleaning up behind there and vacuuming a few cobwebs away. Don't know how they get in but as it's an old house I'm sure there are plenty of nooks and crannies.RR, glad Rob is back. Strangely enough DH & I were having a similar conversation yesterday about wills etc.@dp1 , so pleased you've spent time with DGD & hope she manages at school.I ordered a new laptop yesterday for DH, we can collect it tomorrow, then comes the delightful task of setting everything up!My BFF has messaged just now to say she'll pick me up tomorrow for lunch out but she'll have to leave early. Normally we both have Tuesdays free from DGC pick ups but she has to tomorrow.Left over curry tonight so that's easy
Take care all.

Good afternoon everyone
The sun is shining here for a change. I have just been for my flu jab, straight in and out, no queue. I went to the local pharmacy rather than the GP flu/covid open clinic. I am having my covid jab next week.
So sorry to hear your sad news TA, condolences to you and your family.
DP1, hope all goes well for little one, she has certainly been through the wars.
As always thoughts are with the sad and the poorlies.
Off to do a little dead heading in the garden.
Take care x9
