Space on my Google Workspace

Apparently my 15GB of free space has been used up with Gmail etc.  WhatsApp use this space? Whst should I do?  I can't even save a Google docs to it.

I've been trying to make cv into pdf through Google docs but dunno where to save it and then find it and upload it!

Better to do make cv on pc?  I don't have word

Surely you save it in a folder in your Google drive, once you've created it in Google doc.

Do you use at Google Photos to back up your pictures? This used to offer unlimited storage, but a few years ago it was changed so that new photos added started using your 15gb allowance (the same time I stopped using it) .

As it is hidden away this could have easily consumed 15gb over the last few years.

Photos is the like cause, else that is a lot of emails and likely attachments to emails.

Everyone has Word. You go to www.office.com and use the online version. a Microsoft account there will also come with OneDrive online storage as well.

As already said, photos is the most likely culprit.
If you login to Google Drive you can see how much data is being used by each system. WhatsApp backups are unlikely to account for a huge amount. If Gmail is the main reason, either delete old ones (and empty the trash) or consider using a local system such as Thunderbird and a POP3 account to download your messages and keep a local copy even if you then delete them in Gmail.
Likewise with photos, make a local copy and delete them from drive. BUT, as photos are irreplaceable,  make sure you have additional backup copies in another location.
