How do I access the heaters on-board computer so it only stores heat to match my economy octopus intelligence go tarif, which is 11:30pm - 5:30am? The manual says hold advance and menus together, which I have tried. I have set it to Out All Day and the heat does comes on and occasionally the fan kicks in. My worry is its heating up during the day and not during my off peak period.
I have recently had installed a Dimplex quantum QM125 heater which I bought 2nd hand. The electrician wired it for single use supply. I've read the manual and can't find anything about setting to heat up during my off peak period.
Thanks
M

Try page 33 in this version - don't think it's changed much since earlier series if at all.Just note the 11:30 to midnight and midnight to 05:30 have to be separated.Following the example pre midnight in time period 4 - change the 0630 to 0530 in time period 1Note thats in the installation instructions section - in the past - on earlier generations - iirc they were separate PDF downloads (user and installation) - so may not be in your user manualNote 2 - Dont forget to check the timings still match when meter and possibly heater itself may - depending on configurations - switch to GMT at the end of the month too.2

OK - I am not sure the earleir versions - at least - of the QM125 can support single wired modeThat from a manual for G series found on lineThere is no alt wiring diagram for single modeAnd this historic post here - including a transcript of response from Dimplex to user @oldcyclist"This is apparently for future development when connection to single wiring systems may be possible (unlike the current requirement for both 24hr and off-peak connections."So you may need to check the version.

On the Series F and G models, which I used to have, to change the times for the charging window, where the unit will draw charge, you have to enter the Service menu by pressing Menu, Back and Selector Dial for 3 seconds, it can take several attempts, but once you get into the menu you'll find the charge time settingPage 14 shows it here

As the old postslinked above said whilst menu existed, not yet supported.Thanks.Guess the old post linked above and the bit about not supported yet - reportedly from Dimplex to that customer - was wrong.0
