I've not tried the whole process to completion, but it appears - in my mobile app - to have the same facility to set up new payments, specify the date, make a standing order etc as my Lloyds current account.1

That's what l thought but l can't try it until next month now already paid full amounts.Barkin said:I've not tried the whole process to completion, but it appears - in my mobile app - to have the same facility to set up new payments, specify the date, make a standing order etc as my Lloyds current account.

That's good to know hopefully the classic account will be like the club lloyds.Bridlington1 said:
When LBG gave me a lifetime ban I was able to set up a payee and make a faster payment directly from a Club Lloyds account to another current account with a different bank IIRC, and another one once I'd converted it to an Easy Saver to unlock the interest.soulsaver said:No.............

This is what their key features says:
"Bear in mind, you'll need another Lloyds Bank account if you want to transfer money out of the account online."
Note I'm not disputing what you say - just explaining why I said 'No'.1 -
I can't try it "for real" either, because - at 1.4% - I don't actually have any money in my Easy Saver account...![Deleted User] said:

Apologies then, in that case probably best to only transfer money via another Lloyds account given the terms mandate it.soulsaver said:Bridlington1 said:

A Lloyds Standard Saver might work. I've moved money directly from a standard saver to a building socieity. However, I've got a Lloyds current account too which might be why it works.
Many Lloyds term accounts, like a regular saver, change into a Standard Saver the end of term. Once you've got a standard saver it will stay open on a £1 balance.
I can't think of a good reason to use a Standard Saver to fund a regular saver elsewhere. The interest rate is very low.
What might make sense is opening a 6% Club Lloyds regular saver. At the end of the term, it becomes a Standard Saver and you then send the money elsewhere.1
