    Did you try the Forces Pension Society? £18k is a lot to part without getting a second, informed, opinion.
    No, I may consider it.....I was keen to just pay it and move on.  Speaking to Veterans UK/Paymaster is like wrestling in treacle!

    Just make sure you keep the demand letter safe, and proof that you paid, so that there is never any problems of someone not having marked all the records off properly!
