Barclaycard balance transfer how long in all?

in Credit cards
Hi All
The first time I have used a balance transfer in ages, I got a e-mail from Barclaycard (Thursday evening), stating the transfer has been completed, but the balance is still showing on the other card today Saturday.
Does this take a number of working days to show the other end and wipe the other card balance.
I might get a quicker answer here, than Barclaycard (via bot)!
Thanks

My guess is 3 - 5 days. That's how long it takes with my CC (not Barclaycard)I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. OK many thanks for the comments, I'll just wait and see what happens, as Barclaycard have certainly confirmed the transfer.0

After long searching on the Barclaycard website I found this, I assume the other credit card provider been paid on Friday and it's just a matter of checking on Monday or Tuesday (working days), to see if it's cleared.
[Once we’ve processed your balance transfer request, your bank or card issuer should receive payment by the end of the next working day]

My Barclays ones tend to be 1 working day if it's early enough in the day, MT the longest I had was 3 days which was a late application after business hours, processed next day, funds in the day after

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

I find with my Barclaycard, one full working day on the Barclaycard, then another full day or two on the receiving card. Some will show it as pending, others update overnightI consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0

Credit card systems are not real time like bank accounts. So often only update for payments, once a day, often in the evening/overnight.Life in the slow lane0
