Is this the 2023 version?, if so mine is maturing in a few days.

Seems that easy access saver reward pays slightly more than their easy access/internet plus at 4.60%

Yes mine was the 2023 version, was paying 5% but now it's an easy access saver reward its 4.65%. I've got around £30K in there and I could get 5% with the Family BS on 35 days notice account. It's only another £100 a year interest but I can't make my mind up to move it or not.

What notice do they have to give before a rate reduction

It's a Windfall Bond and you will need to have three bonds
  • I've already got some Family BS Windfall Bonds. The interest rate tracks BoE base rate and from memory there is around a months notice when there's a rate change.

Yesterday I spent a bit of time closing all the duplicated EA accounts with YBS all with different names and paying roughly the same interest. All monies moved into the account with the highest rate that I could. It was all so untidy!

I agree with the housekeeping as I've done the same myself, but always keep one account that has been open for at least twelve months to make applying for loyalty products easier.

Yes, along with the highest interest rate account I've kept one other which I opened in 2022 and only has £2.00 in. And the assorted regular savers of course.
