6-12 months :/ I don’t know if I have space in my head to have this hanging over me. I guess this is one of the reasons people cave.

Exactly, its a game of chicken, who blinks first, in most cases,  thats how bulk litigation works

Another point, I signed the cease and desist letter with my name, on the advice of the trainee solicitor. I’ve realised after reading advice on here that this identifies me as the driver. I did query this before writing the letter but was advised to do it.

That's fine. Advice remains the same.

    Easy to see off.

A CCJ (County Court Judgment) for payment only ever becomes a problem if it's not paid within 28 days of issue.

It's just a final final bill in effect.

The main issue with them is when people miss the 28 days because they don't get the original court letter due to them moving house. But you have your paperwork.

If by some quirk of chance you became the first person in the country to end up in county court for a Euro Car Parks ticket there is nothing to stop you agreeing to pay up 30 seconds before going in to see the judge if you were that terrified.

But in reality it's just doing paperwork and waiting for them to discontinue at the last second. Just like the 400 people before you we know about.

To add, I don’t think I can argue that the signage was poor as advised in some of the WS in the discontinuation thread, as I use the car park weekly and have done for almost 2 years straight.

    Why?
If the signage is poor it's poor, it doesn't matter how may times you have been there it doesn't get any better does it, and you don't need to tell them how many times you have been there!

It's not about whether there were signs up. It is about the £100 being hidden in small print and the fake added £70 not being there at all.
