I must admit I didn't consider the options around my current pension so I will look at that initially.

It is quite common amongst posters on this forum, to think about adding extra to a S&S ISA, or a personal SIPP and forget about the most obvious, which is just to contribute more to a current workplace pension. So you are not alone !
