EE cold calling at the door (Stirling area)

Had the same woman come round twice today, was extra pushy. I was polite the first time but the second less so, she got my wife and started spinning a tall tale.
Essentially stating that as copper lines are being decommissioned, they're checking speeds in the area to as neighbours have complained about the fibre speeds etc. Needs to check I have nothing plugged into copper lines before the turn off in 2025.
This sounds vaguely solid, however I work from home and had been on the internet since 7am working, so knew there were no issues.
Likewise I don't have EE.
I also don't use my copper line at all, everything is in the fibre.
Yet she wants us to go to certain speed test websites etc "to test the line"
I'm putting this down to some shady tactic to try to get us to switch from our current fibre provider.
Before I report to EE - does anyone know if there's any truth in this? Perhaps I'm being soft - but this all just seems farcical. If there was a problem, my ISP or fibre provider could test it to the exchange, to my router etc.

Just someone trying to sell you a new broadband connection.
Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid2 -
Yeah, this bull:checking speeds in the area to as neighbours have complained about the fibre speeds etc.is just a ruse so that they claim they're not cold calling, but they are in fact simply trying to flog you their broadband.0

I had these (not recently) come round wearing EE jackets and they said something about people getting rubbish speeds and asked me if I had a phone so I could check my internet speed. I politely told him to go away.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £30,358.130
