Best way to get out of credit card debt when can’t get a 0% card

Hi, wondering if I could get some help please? I’m currently in a bit of a difficult financial situation. My credit rating is currently fair and although I have a new job with more money, I’m struggling to pay off my credit cards. What’s the best way to do it if I haven’t got the credit rating to get a 0% card? I don’t want to go on a plan or anything as it might affect my mortgage.

Current debts;
£4000 Barclaycard - 0% till December as on a payment plan

£2000 Asda card - currently paying interest

£1200 - American Express - currently paying interest

I have some issues trying to get my ex off my mortgage (he’s £30,000 in debt) but have had problems due to the maintenance being inconsistent. It will come up to remortgage next October so I want to be in a good position by then. All I can think is to keep chipping away at it if I can’t get a 0% card but is there anything else I could do? Maybe a loan?

    Can you post a full SOA? In terms of the debt it is always to pay off the highest interest debt first.

    Don't get a loan.  It usually only doubles the problem.  And none of the amounts owed on the CCs are huge so there must be a way to sort this out.

    As MattMM said post a SOA and then we can see where the holes are in your budget and help you find a way forward.  Without that I'd be suggesting you throw everything at the AmEx to clear it asap just to feel you have one less problem to worry about.
