Chase Bank Account - Cashback sites

I'm looking to open bank account with Chase and I was wondering if anyone knew if they paid the 1% cashback on purchases made through cashback sites such as JamDonughnut, where you buy gift cards from their app which is paid from your account. The exclusions mention account and prepaid card funding so i'm guessing no. Can anyone confirm please? Thanks!

I've certainly had Chase cashback when using the likes of TopGiftcards and also employers' staff perks portals.

Cashback is purchases made using the debit card. Isn't JamDonughnet done via Open Banking? Or you could link your debit card to Apple/Google Pay, but then you'd get less cashback0

You can use it via Google pay yeah. I've done it and you can get cashback. It's often less than just buying the card via open banking though.

It is done via Open Banking which means I wouldn't get the Chase cashback. Thank you

Interesting, I've never got cashback when topping up reloadable gift cards through my employer discount site, so maybe it's a bit hit and miss?MSE_James said:I've certainly had Chase cashback when using the likes of TopGiftcards and also employers' staff perks portals.
Cashback sites should be fine though, eg Top cashback and Quidco as they are just normal purchases effectively.1 -
