Pip review

Good Morning, I'm a little confused as I sent my pip review form back in October 2023 last Wednesday I received the text to say dwp had my report from the assessor's. Today I rang the automated line to be told my next payment which is due on the 10th of October had increased to £737 so my award has been increased but I thought pip was paid monthly in arrears so I wouldn't receive the higher payment until next month and the decision was only made in the last couple of days why would my next payment be for the higher amount I haven't received any backpay yet, although I understand that you don't always get backpay on review . Tia for any help.

As above.... I think I'd wait for the decision letter to see how the dates and payments are working. I would strongly recommend you call DWP PIP at some point and ask for copy of the assessor's report for your reference and possible future use/understanding."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack1
