Nice work sir.  Working on my estimate of around £60 income per PCN issued you can easily follow the money too.

What we really need is updated court statistics too, we only have the overall numbers past 2020, not broken down by company,

  • Blimey, yeah you can see why they love what they do!

I haven't seen this data - obviously some hard work by yourself, is the data readily available?
I don't think the Court data exists does it - at least not in the public domain - but also, when you're talking these sorts of dollar bucks in a unregulated industry - you can see why it's attractive to a certain type of person. And, perhaps why they literally won't listen to reason as that would damage the bottom line.

Even the MHCLG couldn't get claims broken down by parking firm. Only the top 5 bulk litigators, as shown in the draft IA in 2023.

The % data @kryten3000 used was put into the public domain by Will Hurley by publishing a full screen photo of the IPC conference.

BPA figures were calculated separately from a more recent report.  Calculations were not helped by each ATA using different criteria.

Thanks for this.  I would happily guess the increases seen for both APCOA and NCP strongly correlate with the introduction of the scam drop off charges at LHR and LGW respectively.
I think that requests for LGW go through National Car Parks (EUK) Ltd, a different company.
Good point. I just checked and the NTK a relative has recently received for Gatwick drop-off does mention that National Car Parks (EUK) Ltd have reasonable cause to request keeper details and state NCP (EUK) provide the drop off zone enforcement services.  But then all other correspondence info on the NTK mentions the other NCP and the other NCP's registered company number, not NCP (EUK) Ltd's.
