Scottish Power - appalling customer service

Scottish Power made an appointment to repair my smart meter on 30 August. They didn't turn up on the day, but rang up later to rebook the appointment, and they have now done the work.

I thought I am entitled to £30 compensation for the missed appointment, which they have not paid? Also, £30 penalty, as they should have paid it automatically within 10 days?

Is that correct?

Incidentally, their customer service is simply appalling.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Yes, correct on both counts. Or all 3 including the appalling service.

Raise a complaint and take it to the Energy Ombudsman after 8 weeks if not resolved.

Then move to a decent supplier, like Octopus.

They seem to have no system for making the automatic payments. Is that something that ought to be considered by the regulator?

Oh, and I previously sued them for the same thing, and I got judgement for £325, which they grudgingly paid. I have sent them a letter before action.
