Missing cheque

Taking me months to receive a refund from 02, paid cheque in at the post office now missing, so annoying but who takes responsibility? . Unlikely for o2 re-issue as they said they have sent cheque prior to this one that I actually got to pay in . It’s obviously a very common occurrence looking through the threads on here !! . Note to self don’t use post office 😡

Use your banking app to deposit cheques then if something goes wrong you still have the physical cheque to try again etc. 

O2 will reissue another cheque and cancel the original, just be aware that if the lost cheque does resurface and it bounces you may have charges to pay so give it a reasonable time before declaring it lost.

I can't believe these companies are still issuing cheques. Seems very outdated.

Pay it in via the app next time so it doesn't get lost, it will save all the hassle of messing around going to the post office too.
