Builder Gone Into Liquidation - Contacting Insurer?

Hoping someone can help.
Had an extension built 3 years ago and builder had insurance in place covering the work.
The roof is now leaking due to wrong tiles used so trying to pursue their insurance... However, we can't find who the insurer is as we've lost the paperwork and no way to contact the builders.
Is this something the LLP handling the liquidation should provide or anyone know how else I could track the insurer down?
Thank you

You could notify the Administrators of your claim against them and highlight the fact you believe there was an insurer backed warranty in place in which case could they redirect the claim to the relevant insure and advise you.
If they will be able to find the details is another matter0 -
Just a thought, does your home insurance have legal cover? It might be that they can aid you in recovery or advice.0

If this is sufficient enough to warrant a claim on your home insurance, your insurer will have the knowledge and capability to track down any assets (or insurance) that can be claimed on to make an effective recovery from the original builder.0 -
