Refused PIP for Dyspraxia/SPD - recently been diagnosed with ADHD, will that help?

I also think you should get help with filling in the form as and when. For example, the nutrition element is around maintaining nutrition, not about what you are eating (Unless it’s a special diet) so the fact that you eat finger foods isn’t relevant. You can easily maintain your nutrition yourself using finger foods and that’s all they want to know. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -
The biggest mistake I read about with claims is so many people seem to think diagnosis is the means of being recognised as getting an award, PIP is not awarded based on diagnosis. It is important to understand the descriptors and provide good information on which apply to you, I suggest getting assistance from someone like CAB or similar organisations who have experience with PIP forms.1

OP mentions appeal and being ready to list so filling in forms is likely not needed at this stage. It's not always a good idea to start another claim while waiting for a Tribunal.0

from OPs initial post, the first bit of it is a bit misleading as they say they keep getting no points, they do already have an award, just not what they think it should be."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0 -

Social engagement -if you get nervous before a face to face meeting and (say) don't sleep well the night before; if during a meeting you are too anxious to say what you need to say and ideally need someone with you to help with the conversation, if you then dwell on what you said / didn't say after the meeting and this anxiety then disrupts the following day - then all of this needs to go on the form.
Budgeting - for some people anxiety about opening bills / bank statements means they can't reliably manage household finances. Some may spend irrationally because of anxiety.
Taking nutrition - does anxiety blunt your appetite, do you need someone to prompt you to eat regularly? Probably won't get points at assessment - but worth putting on the form for consistency and completeness.
If these apply at all - then they need to be covered on the new form.

Just because one believes they are entitled to a higher award doesn't mean they are.
Do you fit the DL descriptors to qualify for enough points and be honest about that, focus on whether you are eligible not the fact it is extra money.
I have seen so many people lose current awards trying to claim a higher award and also be aware that what you say could contradict an award you already have, my sister had this happen to her.
My advice is go to CAB or a similar organisation that can give you advice on whether a new or change of claim is worthwhile.1 -
