Morning, this is a first for me, starting the daily. Been up for about an hour with thoughts of dd churning around in my head. I wont say too much at the moment as it involves dgd and an incident at school.
Will come back later when I've spoken to dd and hopefully know more.
Have a good day, love to all x

Morning folks and thanks Remmie. I hope you get some reassuring news today to help put your mind at rest a bit. There's always something to worry about with families isn't there/ I used to say I wished we had stuck with dogs rather than children, but of course I didn't really mean it!
After a bit of a sleep in yesterday I was back to silly o'clock this morning, bah! Obviously it's still too dark to see but the forecast is for a fine day with some sunshine and no rain. That'll do nicely as it's bus ride day (aka Skipton!) with the highlight of a wine 'n dine lunch. Yesterday DF was able to meet me for lunch as planned and we had a good old catch up of news. Her DH's brain scan appointment has come through quicker than expected, it's next week. Sadly at a hospital miles away but that's all too regular these days.
SIL is still clinging on but they say to be prepared for the end soon. I know all too well how they are all feeling. Cruel disease.
Bye for now folks and have a nice day if you can with ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, sad, worried or lonely. Take care all xx

Good morning, thanks for starting Remmie. Sorry to hear about your family problem, hope things resolve.
I haven't looked out yet so continue what the weather is doing - yesterday wasn't very good, it rained all day. When we went to the quiz last night I 'd zipped the inner jacket into my waterproof so was nice and warm.
Going to an elderly friend this morning with some shopping, she can't go out on her own now as she walks very badly. Will probably stay for a bit of a chat.
I forgot to read back on yesterday so hope everyone is doing all right. TA, I was thinking of you over the last few days, I know it was a sad time for you with it being your wedding anniversary - hope you're feeling a bit better.
TA, I've popped back after seeing your post - I'm so sorry about your SIL, it's a terrible time, this waiting for the end. Hope she slips away peacefully.
Thinking of anyone else who is sad or poorly today, take care folks.12 -
Morning all - thanks for starting us off @Remmie - I hope that the family problem is soon sortedYesterday was a day of cows escaping, repeatedly. First thing five of them wandered down the track and took some doing to get them back in the farmyard. Later on another two got out and ended up being lead into one of the fields as they really didn't want to go back. Just as I was going to bed I heard another escapee outside my door, it's still out there. I texted the farmer but he must have been fast asleep. The cow hasn't gone too far although it had a little walk during the night as it kept mooing for most of the night. The car body shop phoned me in the afternoon to say that they have the go-ahead from my insurance company to repair my crunched car so it's booked in for 10 October and probably take a week. Car hire has also been booked, the company will collect me at the body shop when I drop my car off. Sorted! This morning the cleaner is coming so I'll go out once he's here. Don't know where to yet, inspiration will hit me then. I hope that everyone is doing at least OK.11

Morning allHope you family problem is sorted out Remmie.Breadmaker is doing it's business for a bacon and cheese loaf. Cooking bacon this morning was tempting for a bacon buttie but will hold out until lunchtime I think. Breakfast in bed at the mo and then a bit of housework and my yearly blood test later. Apart from that it's looking like a dry day out there.Hugs to the poorlies and a good day for all x9

Morning! All deliveries came yesterday like clockwork so Ohs nephews B/day present [ dvd's on WW2, he's fascinated at the moment], floor tiles, shower, basin, taps and printer. It's a new fangled wifi one, too a bit of fiddling because I've got linux not windows but got there fairly quickly and works a treat. Now I just have to work out how to switch it off...Today I'll be dropping off the forms for the allotment, and trying to find a courier to send back a shower tray. OHs mum kindly brought some more bacon round because I can't really use my car until it's fixed, the number of miles ot go before it stops working is dwindling. But at least the five loads of washing are done and mostly dried and the cool box and chemical toilet have finally been put away. And todays job is set up the old computer so I can learn Italian again.TA, hugs to you, it's a carp time isn't it...Izzy, judging by the colours I've seen I couldn't describe what they were, so I think a greeny grey blue is a great description. I think the one we're going to go with is a beigy grey
Only because I can't be bothered to go and stand in front of colour charts again. OH is happy it goes with the tiles so I'm happy too. And it's going on the ceiling too to avoid cutting in. Glad your dil pulled through that one too! Allie, sounds like great fun was had. NRA, I wonder what happened to Speky too..remmie, you're going to have to get him one of those little head umbrellas [ and take a picture
] hope everything is ok with dgd. Coxy, it's not too bad, they're pretty much all the same ones so I never have to think about that either
does this mean you're moving before the C word? Gers, good news on the car, bad news on the mooing
Take care all, wrap up it's getting brrr....

Good morning all
Thank you for the start remmie, hope the family problem is sorted soon.
Yesterday I arranged my own funeral. I wanted to prepay but that wasn't possible if I used my local FD. Seems legislation has changed. No contact with DS, his decision, I've tried everything, so I thought I'd put things in place with solicitor as my executor.
AllwaysAllie lovely photo, what a wonderful view.
Take careIf you walk at night no-one will see you cry.12 -

But well done for trying to organise things.More fun and games with escapee cowsthey're gradually being put into a large field as they jump over the wall of the farmyard. The stocksman is getting increasingly grumpy. Perhaps the rest will be moved whilst I'm out.
