Hi . Looking for some advice please , back in 2021 I entered a car park in Manchester which happend to have no spaces , I presumed the grace period was 10 minutes . I got a fine for  being  10 minutes and 10 seconds over . I was advised not to pay the fine . I never heard anything for months then years . Now 3 years later  after receiving my letter before claim I have now recieved a claim form see attached photo . Any advice on how to defend myself on this please

You've left your MCOL password visible on that image you have shown us.

With a Claim Issue Date of 26th September, you have until Tuesday 15th October to file an Acknowledgment of Service, but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.
To file an Acknowledgment of Service, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
Having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Tuesday 29th October 2024 to file a Defence.
That's four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service guidance.
Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.

Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.

Same as the hundreds of other Euro DCB Legal claims on the forum this Summer.  Read at least ten (no links needed, search). Copy one!  Job done for now and they'll discontinue in 2025.

You might have been expecting that, as it is listed in the 12 steps in the defence template thread!
