Parcel sent via Ebay postage not received

I sent a parcel last week via Ebay's postage which is supposed to inform the buyer of the purchase. It didn't.
I dropped the parcel in a Royal mail parcel drop box and videoed myself doing so for proof.
How do I proceed as this was last Friday and the estimated delivery date was 30th Sept ?

if buyer is hassling you be polite , explain that item is on its way and re assure them it should hopefully be with them shortly. If buyer isn’t hassling you, then leave it, wait for buyer to say something.
All parcels now have basic tracking, what service did you use and what does it say if you enter the number in the courier checking page? If it was Royal Mail for instance RM48 RM24 will show a drop off scan and one when it is delivered, if it is lost then you need your proof of postage from RM or the post office to make a claim, but you are way off that yet.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. If you mean you just bought postage labels like most of us then you still need your POP in some form unless, with certain couriers it shows as in the system and formally lost already. Nothing has changed and I can't imagine any regulars suggesting otherwise. As usual you would have to make a claim as long as your item was allowed- and that isn't checked by ebay before you use one of the postage options they facilitate.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. It got there the next day so panic over.
I will say that the Ebay postage system has become so unreliable. Yesterday I paid for postage and opted for Royal mail to collect at my door. Suffice to say nobody called and the parcel is already a day late. What a shambles!0 -

Presumably if you throw Ebay into that mix then it's going to have problems.
