also useful to ask leading questions e.g. 'what things would you advise we get sorted once we move in?'

  • We met our seller when we went around to measure up. We weren't bothered whether it was the agent or the seller there, but it was good to have a quick chat and realise that things were progressing and that they weren't likely to change their mind.

I found it after I'd bought this pig in a poke of a bungalow - Phil Spencer's website, Moveiq.

He has a very useful second viewing checklist which includes flushing toilets etc. I wish I'd had it before I purchased.  First time I washed my hands here in the bathroom taps were screaming, dreadful.

We showed potential purchasers round all our houses except the last (during Covid), and likewse were shown round by vendors, except the last.
Personally I preferred seeing vendors, as the agents just left us to look round, and wouldn't / couln't answer many of our questions.

I'd be like this, so my wife made sure I was out of the house when we last sold and the buyer wanted to pop back.  I worked; I wasn't there to say too much and we sold really fast!
