RAC Breakdown cover discounts

Options
TopCashback indicates that for a new RAC cover including home cover and free MOT and national breakdown cover is something like £108. There is a 40% discount which brings it down to something like £78. The site also indicates that if you buy a policy of a value greater than £100 You’ll get £60 cashback. The question is if I buy a policy that exceeds £100 but if RAC reduce it to £78 is this regarded as a policy INXS of £100 in which case £60 cashback is payable. It is not at all clear. Phoning RAC doesn’t help no way to contact TopCashback

The simple answer is, what are you actually paying for the policy. £78 ?

It will be cashback on what you pay, not what you would have paid before a discount.

I think the £108 is after the 40% discount.
  • Blue Light Card and Defence Discount Service has an offer running this month with RAC, until the 16th actually. “55% off” is the headline but actually the cheapest membership is £4.49 per month, so £53.88 a year. Good for those in the ‘key worker’ roles who qualify and are in these subscription clubs.
