Car insurance for Spain 180-day cover

Looking for car insurance brokers that offer 180-day cover in the EU. We'd be glad to hear from anyone with practical advice or recommendations, it's not proving easy to find.

Are you looking for 180 days in 1 go or 180 days across the policy year?
Also have you considered buying a full policy in spain

All UK Motor insurance still has to provide the local equivalent of TPO cover across the EU so it comes down to if you want just third party coverage or want own damage/ theft etc covered too?

Is it one trip of 180 days or multiple trips adding up to 180 days? If the later, what is the longest single trip?

Sterling Insurance do 3 months or 1 year overseas policies, LV do 180 days, John Lewis the same, QuoteMeHappy/Aviva 180 days but maximum of 90 days for one trip... many more options out there
