New Neighbours Building Work

I am trying to find out information pertaining to Building Regulations for work being conducted by our new Neighbours.
About 2 months ago, new neighbours moved in next door and as appears normal these days started to perform some work to personalise the house - No issue there.
They have the end terrace of a block of 4 victorian terrace houses so naturally we have one of the mid terrace houses.
However, once they started they discovered additional work that they have decided to move ahead with and I am concerned they are doing this without obtaining permission or seeking building regulation approval.
1. Following the installation of a new oven, the house short circuited every time it was used. They have since decided to re-wire and re-plumb the house however we have only a Single Skin Partial wall between our houses and I am concerned from the amount of work they are undertaking that we will suffer residual damage in the not too distant future - should they be seeking approval to perform this work?
2. Following a recent storm, a water leak developed in there bedroom and they needed to fix the roof on their side, however the builders did not just fix the leak but re-roofed included the removal / replacement of the ridge tiles and some tiles on our side so the lining could be secured. Again should they have required any approvals to do this and what do we need to guarantee should we have any residual issues?
3. They also decided to cap the chimneys due to Pigeon damage but have just informed us that they will now be installing a lintel / or multiple lintels into the 2 chimney stacks - should they be seeking any approvals for this?
Any advice appreciated as we are worried that ll this work could lead to residual damage on our side?

Rewiring/plumbing doesn't require planning permission etc nor a party wall agreement. They should receive an electrical certificate after the work is done but most appoint certified electricians who can issue the certificates themselves.
They should have gained your permission before touching or going onto your side of the roof however remedies are very minor unless you can substantiate financial loss as a consequence.
Are the chimneys on the party wall or a different wall?1 -
Thank you for the prompt response.
The chimneys both at the front and rear of the property are on the ridges so yes are on the party wall.0
