Sony Playstation refund / contact centre

Hi, 

Does anyone know of how to get through to Sony Playstation customer service/contact centre as my son pre-ordered the new FIFA 25, and then decided he wanted to upgrade to the ultimate pack.

He did this as you're supposed to be able to cancel a pre-order within 14 days distance selling regs, but there is literally no way of doing it apart from speaking to their online chat.

However, there is never anyone on their online chat to do this and you cant request a refund any other way.

I've also tried X by sending a direct message 5 days ago, so within first 14 days, but nothing again.

Been trying to get through 5-6 days and only have a couple of days left of the 14 days. 

Not good/helpful from a World reknown brand.

    has he downloaded/played the content yet? If so, then I don't think he can get a refund (unless the software is faulty)

  • Hi. No, he's not downloaded the full content. You are allowed the pre content as such, but he's not downloaded the full version.

    Could he have downloaded the pre-content without having bought it?

    Was it downloaded before or after the ultimate version was purchased?

    Hi, would this actually be a pre order?
    The game was released on Friday 27/09
    The ultimate addition would still be the same game with a few add ons - which are covered by the price of paying for the ultimate addition
    Is there something he actually needs that he cant just buy as an extra anyway

    Looks like no upgrade path on playstation. So would need to buy again.

    Has he played the game after downloading? If he has it is possible that part of this is to waive the 14 day right to a refund.
    Issue here is this is also a change of mind, not that there is anything wrong with the software.
