Hi all
We just applied for UC after a migration letter and due our first UC payment on Oct 5th.
However, I just got a note on my journal saying the attached picture.
I receive ESA support group Contribution based. However I have heard of people in the support group being asked to provide fit notes when the migrate over to UC. But it worried me when it said "When you applied for Universal Credit we told you that you did not need to provide a fit note."

Anyone help as so worried 😟

My wife asked them to ensure LCWRW is added to our claim as zi am I the support group of ESA and they replied to her.

"Your husbands health journey is currently being fully verified ,
We are waiting for further Information being sent from ESA (Employment support allowance) at this time.
Once fully Verified your Husbands claim will be Updated and Adjusted, Any Monies owed will then be Calculated and paid."

Not sure what that means in relation to the fit note request.

    Confused by your post.

I take it that husband has had work capability assessment under ESA and was put in support group. Therefore the UC claim will have LCWRA added and any payment due paid once confirmed.

It is an issue with wifes side of claim and lack of work capability assessment under ESA? Therefore UC requires fit note for the assessment process to be started ?
The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.

It's a standard feature the computer is treating everyone as new so ignore the messages until ESA talks to UC he doesn't need to supply any fit notes see Regulation 19

On your journal just write in that you or he has an entitlement to LCWRA as he was in the support group of ESA
