I'm setting up a website. I have someone to help me with this, but first I need a domain name. I have looked on www.names.co.uk as this site has been recomended to me.
I have found a name I want but I need some advice.
Firstly one is a .org.uk and the other is a .co.uk Is one better than the other?
Secondly they are both available for 2 years at £9.99 or free with hosting. Is this a good deal?
Thanks

Not cheap. Have a look on this board there are plenty of threads recommending registrars. I personally use ukreg but there are plenty of others. What you choose between org and co is up to you. Org was meant to be for organisations and co for companies but it doesn't make much difference nowadays. Although I think there's an expectation that people only get .org when they can't get .co"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

go for the .co.uk in my opinion. it seems more professional, and i always associate .org addreses with local organisations.0
