Also, do I need to send a copy of the WS to the claimant?

To their solicitors as well as to the local court. Not to the CNBC and not to the parking firm direct.

If DCB Legal has not sent a WS by the deadline - what is the deadline - even though this is a 3 PCN claim(?) this suggests they are about to discontinue, so please show us the NoD when they email it, so your success can be counted!

And please don't forget the government's Public Consultation before next Friday! Takes a couple of hours, even with the ideas and tips in the thread.

If you haven't done the survey yet, don't worry. Read my ideas re each question and if you agree with our stance, use some of the examples and things people have posted.

It needs to be your opinion but you'll see! Apologies - and many thanks - if you've already done it.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The deadline (14 days from court date) I believe was yesterday. I'll keep an eye out for it. I'll also send the solicitor the WS.

I will do the public consultation - thanks

I've sent both the solicitor and the court the witness statement.

I have not received a NoD or a WS from them, even though the court date is on September 10th so they are later than the 14 day deadline.

However they have paid the hearing fee, I've checked with the court. Does this mean in all likelihood it will proceed?

I tend to think discontinuance is 80% likely even though they paid the fee. Wait and see.
