Morning everyone
I was late getting up this morning - eldest DD rang while I was still in bed so we had a nice chat. She is in a new place today, still in Bali...looks beautiful. She is there until Saturday, she seems to have been away for ages.
I haven't heard from DD since last night, hopefully little ones' button will get sorted today and they will get back home later. They will get a train as they went to Newcastle in an ambulance - she could ask for transport home but they could wait for hours.
Dad should come home at some point this morning, he had been telling everyone yesterday that he was only there for one more night. Mam will be sore for a while I think - I've said to please just stay in the house for a few days - she's looking forward to dad being home again.
Well I have work later so I better get some jobs done.
TA I hope you have lots of happy memories today.
Have a good day everyone x10 -
Morning all
Raining here and set in for the day last night was horrible weather with wind and rain lashing against the window all night and we had a power cut in the early hours.
No people coming today as dd has a hospital appointment so I will go with her one of my people had cancelled anyway so I just put Rob off till tomorrow.
Nor sure about dinner tonight we have some left over bits from the weekend so I’m sure I can cobble something together, I will run the hoover over this morning and then take the dogs out for a soggy walk.
TA thinking of you today xxx
Have good days all and take care xx9 -
Hello all, after a stormy night the sun is out ! Not sure how long it will stay dry though.
Yesterday was a quiet day although I did tidy the freezer. I also rang Dad but getting a conversation out of him was like pulling teeth again, at least when he had carers going in he was more talkative when I rang him of an evening.
This morning I have a sm delivery coming including some things for Dad which we'll deliver tomorrow. This afternoon we are picking the DGC up from school and bringing them back here for tea, DD will join us straight from her school. I'm doing a roast dinner followed by a chocolate gateau found in the freezer. I shall get the slow cooker going this morning as I found a large bag of diced beef in the freezer shuffle which I'm going to cook and portion up ready to make stews etc.
TA many hugs coming to you, hope you have lots of happy memories.
taff sounds like everything is coming together.
My delivery is here better go and answer the door.

Hi everyone,
It's raining again - the local roads have just re-opened from the floods so I hope they don't have to close again.
I am hanging on to a phone call to the hospital, I'm now number 2 in the queue so hopefully it won't be too much longer.
Apart from that I am alone in the house, it seems eerily quiet. Number 1 now. Steve's gone over to Chris and Crystal's to play with some sort of floor grinding machine, I hope it goes ok.
I'm going to have a fairly quiet day I think. Just had the phone answered, however it wasn't terribly helpful. I was offered a weekend appointment which I refused (the nurse who took me out of the last procedure, which was a Saturday, told me to ask for a weekday appointment next because the reason I have to have another is that the Dr made a bit of a botch of it). I was told there was nothing else atm so I opted to wait until one is available.
dp1, I hope little one is home soon.
TA, I hope your day is filled with happy memories.
Have a good day.11 -

DP1 bless little one hope she is sorted soon.
Gers glad you made the decision hope its delivered soon

Snoozer enjoy your quiet day.

Hello again
Everyone is back where they should be!
Dad was home at lunchtime - I've been down and he is fine but tired so was away to bed by the time I left at 5.30. Carer came, he shouted that he wasn't using the stand aid, I said 'oh yes you are' and they managed fine! I'll go down again before work tomorrow as the tablets he's come home with don't all match what he usually has...but I think a couple might just be different brands.
Little one and her mummy are also home with her problem sorted...the hospital organised them a taxi home as little one was in her pyjamas and dressing gown....the driver told DD the journey costs £120 a time!
She has an appointment with her consultant in a few weeks time just to check how she is.
Right I've had my tea...and some chocolate icecream....as I didn't have any of Nanny's chocolate gateau!
Dishes to wash, then pyjamas and dressing gown and a nice cuppa in front of the TV x9 -
