Hive Plus membership

Hello 
I have a Hive Thermostat and noticed that there is a new Hive Plus product 
Cost £3.99 a month ( with 1 month free) or £39.90 per year 
Thinking of giving it a try this winter 
Noticed that it mentions Exclusive Energy discount - Get £60 credited to your British Gas energy account when you join Hive Plus and choose any fixed British Gas dual fuel tariff ) 
I currently had a fixed British Gas dual fuel tariff so wondering if I would qualify ? 
Anyone used Hive Plus ?

I used it for a year when I got a really discounted offer a while ago (and before I had smart meters so couldn't then get detailed usage data easily) .  Apart from giving you the "usage" (in terms of amount of time heating has been on ...it doesn't pick up gas usage for hot water so somewhat limited) and temp graphs for weeks and years instead of just the daily one you can see for free on the app (the graph icon in the top right of the Thermostat page) there's not a lot more to it.  Maybe worth you trying the one month free trial but its not worth paying for in my opinion.

I signed up for it when my hive hub died and they offered it to me for £20 for a year. It's only value for me is it offers a warranty for hive devices so got the replacement hub included in the £20.

As for the heating plus features, I've not activated them, Hive is absolutely rubbish, heating plus looks rubbish as well so not going to waste my time.

I joined for a free month trial , its then £3.99 per month , however as I have a British Gas fixed dual fuel product , will get £60 credit on my British Gas so its a no brainer
The heating plus extra features are not really that great , apart from warranty for hive devices 
Already use Bright to monitor energy usage which is really good
